The return period has expired and this unusable adapter exists. The 3.5mm connector detached and fell into the device, a squeaking noise. Poor build quality. Bought from another manufacturer, no problem.

I used this product to convert the HDMI output of a new camcorder to composite for compatibility with the A/V system we use to record and web worship services. We loved that we just plugged it in and used it, it worked great straight away. The composite signal was of very good quality, just what we were hoping for.

I have purchased several HDMI to RCA adapters through Revain. This actually outputs a 16:9 widescreen image. The rest only showed a 4:3 picture, the quality was poor and the picture was off-center. This converter accepts a good HDMI signal and reproduces the picture as you would expect from an RCA connection. It's also easy to use. I recommend this converter among others.

Easy to install, the case is solid metal and overall has a very good picture on my 25 year old 500 lb 25 inch TV. The sound is excellent in stereo mode, not tinny and weak. I would recommend this if like me you have an old good picture TV in your bedroom and just don't have the energy to move the thing. Definitely good picture and sound from a deck of cards of this size.
