DROK buck converter input voltage range is DC 15V-55V, can step 24v/36v/48v down to DC 12v, output current is 1.5A, output power is 18W. The voltage reducer module is made of full glue material; waterproof, anti-shock and moisture-proof. Our step down converter is designed with over-temperature and over-current protection. The volt transformer is tiny in Size and light in weight, easy and convenient to install. Automatically resume operation; low heating generation.

Works as intended

Buck converter received on time and works as expected. Installation is easy, just two wires in and two out, you can't go wrong. Use this to convert the automation system's 24V output to 12V. The output is approximately 12.3V, which is the same as the power adapter that came with the device.

Works perfectly! in Tools & Equipment

So far the Drok buck converter works for our needs. We haven't tested the exact result, but it works. Would recommend and buy again without hesitation. We're using it for a college engineering project. The "Graffiti Robot" uses two Arduinos, a Grbl shield, 2 stepper motors and an airbrush. Uses CNC code basically like CNC.

Weak output voltage ripple.

Output capacity too low. From approx. 5 mA up to a maximum of 1.5 A, a residual ripple of over 100 mV occurs. The device is epoxy filled, but I'm assuming the output capacitors are cheap. FYI this is a 150kHz switch and the output looks like one of many LM2596 clones. Otherwise, it easily handles a full load of up to 1.5 A.
