Product photos led us to believe crossbars would be included. The kit included only vertical "ladders", plinths and two portable cases. Why are they called 4 Foot Wide Dog Agility when there are no bars?

What a disappointment. Only one of the jumps came with a bar (one bag only had side posts) and one bar I received was missing one of its end caps. The kickstands are stable when placed on a flat surface, so I think that's a good thing. I bought these diving boards to avoid the hassle of making my own but ended up at the hardware store cutting lengths of PVC pipe to try and salvage this inferior product.
