So far so good, best on heater control valves

Works great so far so good for 2009 Prius. The best way to access the control valve is to pull out the left headlight and don't forget to bleed. end 🙂

Pros
  • Great for small homes
Cons
  • Upgrades

On my third coolant control valve sensor

Prius I've had it for over seven years and I'm about to change it for the third time. I'm pretty good at that, but that says a lot about the reliability of this Revain OEM part.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • very expensive

Several codes were removed to help me pass the California Smog Test

My car was working fine before I replaced this item. I had my check engine light on which reflected the following codes: 1116, 1121, 1123, 1150. After replacing the valve, refilling the cooling system and burping to replace the coolant I lost during the installation, all the codes became away. The car, heater, etc. work the same as they did before the replacement, but that's the price you pay to live in California.

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Safety
