Almost no air movement

Once the sleeve bearings broke in and stopped screeching, very quiet. But I don't see how they can cool anything. No mounting screws provided and the holes are non-standard so standard fan screws split the mount.

Pros
  • very good fan
Cons
  • May not effectively cool larger devices

Exactly as advertised. Perfect replacement on my 3-D printer

I made the mistake of buying winsim fans. Two out of the five were bad and the third one I put in was the loudest thing I’ve ever heard coming from a device! But this Review is about coolerguys fans. I put it in the system and it was a great replacement. I’ve had one fan that was slightly quieter than this one, but this is still more quiet than the hot end fans anyway. I will be buying them again when needed. Thanks!

Pros
  • i wired to a power supply with a on/off switch and going like it was new
Cons
  • Fan blades may break or become loose over time

Great for my use: my feedback

I'm using this for my propane fridge, it uses almost no power, very quiet, and for my use it is perfect. The amperage is like .010a. I'm living off-grid so the less power i use the longer my batteries will last.

Pros
  • Great fan at a great price
Cons
  • May not be suitable for consumer electronics

Very quiet, just as expected

Fan is about 4000 rpm which is lower than the 8,000 rpm ball bearing fans I purchased earlier, which were incredibly noisy. This looks to be an exact replacement of the OEM part and is almost silent in operation which is exactly what I wanted. It moves a low volume of air but that’s what i needed for a low heat generation device. I am concerned about the lifespan relative to the ball bearing motors, only time will tell on overall lifespan. So far very happy with this product.

Pros
  • Very quit fanVery simple to instll
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all microelectronics

DEAD SILENT! Perfect for Hikvision NVR security system

There is a review below that complains about noise? Just got this today and installed in my NVR and There is 0 noise from it! you will need to swap the plug on the end or splice the 2 wires. Took about 10 min to swap the fan!Hope this helps

Pros
  • These fans move the air I built a amp rack that is in closed they do the job pretty well
Cons
  • May not be aesthetically pleasing

Works good and very quiet.

Great replacement fan for my battery charger in my RV. Quieter than the original fan. Now if it lasts a couple years I'll be happy! So far it's great.

Pros
  • fine replacement for the old noisy ones in a yamaha stagepas 300 pa system
Cons
  • May not be powerful enough to cool overclocked devices

WOW very noisy very loud

The first of thing from being ultra quiet. Installed in a LG home theater, when it comes on, drowns out the sound of the TV. The compensate for the extremely loud air flow noise I cut out the air great on the back of the home theater system but it's still too noisy.

Pros
  • Everything was as described. Worked perfectly
Cons
  • May not significantly reduce device noise levels

Whisper Quiet on my review.

Absolutely amazing! Whisper quiet which is just what I needed for a piece of studio and stage equipment.I’m recommending this to a group on social media who need the same solution as me!

Pros
  • I didn't expectation about exactly same, but it is the same part and better quality.
Cons
  • May not significantly improve airflow

Very quiet, low flow rate

I should have read closer since I needed something with higher flow rate. This is very leisurely. Good if you're in a glovebox and don't want to mess with a balance or powders too much. Not so great for pulling air through a packed bed. It's very very quiet, barely noticeable.

Pros
  • awesome quality, silent and pushes a good amount of air.
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all 3D printers

Got noisy after two weeks

I install this in the power supply of my 3D printer. Worked okay for two weeks, then suddenly got noisy. May not be strong enough to cool certain devices.

Pros
  • Supper quite
Cons
  • May not be strong enough to cool certain devices

Revainrating 3 out of 5

not the best quality

Its been a week since I put this fan in my cr-10s case and its already chattering. Totally junk in my opinion. Guess I need to find a better brand.

Pros
  • Used in my incubator. Loved it.. Cust service is great!!
Cons
  • May not be effective in cooling devices with tight internal spaces

Revainrating 4 out of 5

decently quiet, nothing to write home about

Was replacing the fan in an Akitio Thunder2 enclosure (SunOn Maglev Fan). It was decently quieter, but had a noticeable tick up close. Not as good as I hoped, but it'll do.Was nice that I could get a model with the 2-pin connector and good cable length so it was just an easy swap.

Pros
  • Great quality product, fast shipping, easy install!
Cons
  • Noise level may fluctuate
