This laptop fan is huge! The plastic feels comfortable, the metal mesh is comfortable. RGB is cool but not as bright as it could be. The controls were pretty simple with + and -. Suitable for Alienware 17 R4 without protruding bearing parts. Decent airflow. It's mostly hard plastic, so I bet the tabs that are supposed to keep the laptop from sliding around could eventually break if the laptop is heavy, but many other options have a single central ridge that doesn't mate well with the triangular edge by Alienware works. I don't care about the lights at all, but if you need it they have a few color and animation settings. So far very happy with this purchase.

It was nice to finally find a cooling pad that fits my 17.3 inch laptop. It's too thick for my setup. Even the lowest angle or tilt is too far, after all the display didn't work properly. First connection always showed fan speed 5, no matter when the power is switched off and on again, the fan shows MAX and the display shows 4. The minus (-) button is also stuck.
