Bottle tent is leaking, some of the two bottles were dented out of the box, this stuff is not a dent once dented. Also, caps are annoying, they have a broken thread pattern that makes cleaning difficult, and they come with those annoying O-rings that only work once and then once on the neck of the bottle are hard to remove. The bottom of the bottles looks like a 2 liter bottle with five hard to clean indentations in the bottom. I would not buy again. Australia means "Low Qualityโ€ in Englishโ€ฆ

Cheap fake not as advertised

Very disappointed, have bought these bottles several times and have been very happy with them, nice thick plastic bottle with thick walls. They were very different this time, first arriving in a completely different box, a plain white box with a small sticker that said Coopers DIY Pet Bottles. The bottles were twice as light and very thin walled compared to the previous bottles I've bought. I'm not even sure if I want to use them for bottling beer, I feel like I have a cheap version and worstโ€ฆ

Great for home brewing - compared to Glass and Mrbeer

I personally prefer plastic bottles to glass bottles. Why? 1) I've never had a bottle bomb, but if I did I'd prefer it to be plastic. 2) Plastic bottles indicate when they are carbonated. Express them. See #1 - You may find a potential BB just in time. 3) Plastic bottle capping is 95% faster and easier than glass bottle capping. 4) Lids can be used over and over again. 5) They do not break, are light and quiet. It's like driving a car.6) After bottling, I squeeze out all the air beforeโ€ฆ

Perfect for sparkling cider

ANOTHER UPDATE: have been using them for over 3 years - same bottles. Incredible quality. UPDATE: Still happy with it but 1 out of 15 had a manufacturing defect around the neck and didn't hold the seal. ORIGINAL REVIEW: If you've tried bottling cider or beer in regular or Grolsch-style bottles, you know what a pain day is. Filling these bottles is a breeze. Disinfect bottles and caps with Starsan, drain some water, fill and screw on caps. That's all. And what I particularly like is that afterโ€ฆ

The most convenient and reusable bottles.

I brew beer in 5-6 gallon batches which makes about 55 12 oz bottles. Bottles are easy to come by: drink a few cases of unscrew-top beer and save the bottles; Metal caps are easily accessible. What I find annoying is the capping. You can buy flip-top bottles ($160 for 55); Bottle caps save ($1.25 for 55) plus capper ($13-150); or plastic bottles/caps ($30 for 30 25-ounce bottles). Shutdown, to me, is capping: Capping 55 reusable glass bottles with metal caps is a labor-intensive task fraughtโ€ฆ
