Malfunction/defect Drawing, painting and artist consumables

I have to assume that this is a defect. This pen was exactly what I was looking for: a sepia colored fountain pen to try out for those who don't often turn to this type of drawing tool. I've never bought anything from Copic, but I've heard good things from other artists. In my experience, there wasn't enough ink in the pen to fill even one page of test letters! Completely dry in less than 10 minutes. Since this product is pretty well reviewed, I can only assume that I received a defective…

Decent drawing pen

The pen draws very fine and sharp lines and the ink dries fairly quickly. Prices are reasonable, especially for Copic products, and can be hard to find locally unless you live next door to a very good art dealer. This pen is perfect for sketching, but can also be used as a writing or drawing pen. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good entry-level pen that is cheap and easy to use. I haven't had ink bleed when using multiple types of paper, but on thinner paper they do appear on the…

Slightly scratchy, not as thin as described

This is normal. The line isn't even close to 0.1. that's closer to the ultra-fine Japanese fountain pen. 0.1 would be thinner than my Japanese ultra-thin 3776, but it's easily twice as wide. The sepia ink looks good, a little more orange than the other sepia colors but looks good. But it's not waterproof at all, so no ink or water color for you. He's also pretty prickly. not bad if you're just doing hatching or downstrokes, but if you're trying to write it's not great. But these are not passes…

Changed from 3 stars to 4 stars

My first impression of purchasing this pen was disappointing. I've been a Copic fan for many years. When I opened the packaging of this pen, the build quality made me wonder if I had been scammed. it doesn't even try not to look plasticky. I found the body to be a bit sticky and had the issues that other reviewers have mentioned related to inconsistent ink flow. It's resistant to Copic markers, but you can put some water on it, which I don't really mind as I find it's a quick way to get…

Slightly disappointed

I bought this with moderate expectations, hoping for a disposable line drawing fountain pen that I didn't have to struggle with. Unfortunately, I don't understand the point at all, especially considering the price. Note. I usually use either Copic Multiliners, a G or Maru nib and a Pentel Fude Brush Pen. Barely manages to get a noticeable change in line gauge. To get a thicker line I have to press down on the pen so hard it wants to tear the paper, which brings me to my next problem. I applied…
