Insane battery life

Just got back from first outdoor activity with this watch, 8 hours + car to car, using GPS all the time, came back with 88% battery while my Fenix 5- Partners - 59%. We will come back to learn more about other features.

Ideal for mountaineering. Cycling too.:

Rarely 5 from me. Excellent performance. Regular updates, feature and firmware improvements. Robust construction. Nice glass. I climbed to the top of Mount Rainier in three days. Excellent battery life, useful breaks, continuations and a really useful card/summary at the end of the climb with vibrant graphics. Now I use it for cycling too. Seamless connection to Strava. i love this watch I've tried them all from Garmin, Suunto etc and got the best specs, build and feature set I've used.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some imperfections

The battery lasts really long.

Pre-order on the website. Took it to Baker North Ridge for the first ride. 15 hours on the road with GPS on and only about 30% battery left. I'm still trying to figure out the rest of the features but am generally satisfied. The large scroll button came in handy when I was wearing ice climbing gloves. The only thing I would complain about is the "circle" feature, it's pretty easy to accidentally click it. I also need to look at the time I had climb mode enabled, it can be adjusted but I think…

Great battery life, good GPS accuracy, great watch!

I used the watch for an 8 day backpack in the Sierras, mostly off the trails. I used active training and GPS tracking mode (at maximum accuracy) for about 6-9 hours a day. In the evening of the 7th day I had to charge. I turned off the wrist heart rate as it's inaccurate crap anyway. I used the watch to track elevation, ascent, and camping time. During the hike, the clock elevation was fairly close to the topographic maps. When I got home the GPS track was very accurate after I exported the…

Industry-leading battery life and basic functionality

What I really liked about this watch was its battery life. Because of the form factor (it's a solid and attractive watch compared to most), after wearing this watch for a while and learning about its functionality, I felt compelled to write this review and share how well thought out this clock was. . The ease of use, the arrangement of the functions are just phenomenal. I've had trouble navigating a traditional smartwatch, and just like driving an electric car, you always struggle with…
