No screws; does not fit

The first bump in the road I encountered was after reading the "instructions" and the fact that I had to bolt the legs to the fans with screws. Screws that weren't included. I tried a dozen different types and couldn't find one that matched the themes. I settled with duct tape wrapped tightly around where the legs attached to the fans. It's wrong, but it works. Then when I went to attach the whole mechanism to my RAM, I found that my CPU cooler tubes were in the way and I had to unplug, rotate…

Works as expected best in a case Fan

My only negative review of this product is how Corsair designed the metal feet that attach to the plastic memory clips. The rubber feet are a nice touch, but you really have to bend the metal feet inward to give them enough grip. Even then it's still not fixed. If you ever need to move your computer, I strongly recommend removing the entire cooling kit from the system as there is a chance it may fall off during transport. It is also important to note that there are 2 different versions of this…

Not suitable for case fans

I am very disappointed that this cooler does not fit in my system when the stock CPU cooler is installed. I assume it's only suitable for systems with liquid cooling tubes that can be rigged to fit around this cooler. The stock CPU cooler pushes this cooler off the memory sticks as if this cooler wasn't wobbly enough as it doesn't stick tightly to the memory sticks. I agree with others who advise removing it when transporting the computer. Unfortunately, Revane's returns window closed a long…

A little pricey but worth it and gave the expected results.

I'm using this on Patriot RAM, DDR4-3400. Lowered the idle temp by 10C and stopped the freezing issues I was having. This was not required to install 2 DIMMs, but when I upgraded to 4 DIMMs for 32GB of RAM for virtualization and gaming, the memory overheated and sometimes caused the system to freeze. This product fixed the problem. A bit pricey but looks very cool. Very easy to install. I'm running XMP 2 profiles in my RAM, but with some extra cooling I could try to push my OS further. No…

Storage temperature drops but lighting doesn't go well with iCUE

I use a high performance system to mostly do Photoshop and run Folding@home and BOINC compute grids. Corsair Dominator memory (two 16 GB sticks) easily warmed up to 42-44 degrees C under high load, which sometimes caused memory errors. The air cooling of this device reduced the operating temperature to 36-37 degrees Celsius and the difference between the two sticks to 0.5 degrees Celsius, which is just amazing. The only downside is that I can't get it to work well with the Corsair iCUE software

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Periodicity

Be careful if your RAM is in the wrong orientation as it is not safe.

I bought this when my Corsair Dominators were getting warmer in games. IT IS NOT SUITABLE. They sag so much that I am afraid they will fall and damage my system. You are so free and it doesn't matter what you do. I only have 2 Corsair Dominator dims, but that doesn't matter. I see others reporting the same issue. This is because my I/O ports are facing up on my motherboard. This RAM will sag and wobble if you don't have a traditional motherboard RAM layout. Unfortunately I have to send them…

I like it. good for fans and cooling

I like Dominator. Installation was a little tedious as I had limited space to install it. So I had to remove the graphics card to position the Dominator properly. No big deal, it just took a little longer to install. So far I like it very much. Looks very good. In terms of cooling, maybe my Corsair Air Vengeance Pro Series (32GB). The system is already running pretty cool, but I can tell you that the extra fans it offers won't hurt. What makes it different from the regular Corsair Dominator…

Looks great and works great

I'm using 4 sticks of Corsair Vengeance RGB RAM (BDIE) with high overclocking. Running at 3600MHz 16-16-16-34, TREFI 155ns and all secondary/tertiary timings on extreme/hard settings and at 1.44V. Games went up to 50 degrees. As a result, I would experience a crash related to memory stability. After installing this and running the Karhu RAM test for 10 hours, I was finally stable, peaking in RAM temperatures in the mid 30's. I think he looks pretty good too. Some reviewers claim it has a loose…

Setup is easy and helps cool other components.

. I recently changed the RAM in my case, the old set had a RAM cooler that was ported to another system. I noticed that my m.2 drive with the heatsink located just below the CPU socket and above the graphics card was consistently hot at 8-10 degrees without a RAM cooler, bringing it to 52-54 degrees. Since the CPU has a closed-loop water cooler, I bought this RAM cooler to not only cool the 3733's RAM, but also to move nearby components like the m.2. After adding this, my m.2 drive keeps around

Pros
  • Only positives.
Cons
  • . Some defects.
