Looks great, strength is better than just good!

I love Corsair power supplies. My only issue with them is that the cables are oddly stored inside. I get 3 CPU cables, 2 PCI-e (GPU) cables with splitter cables, and then the obvious SATA and Molex. It could be better populated with 3 or even 4 individual PCI-e cables so I can run separate cables to the GPU if I only need 1 CPU cable. Also, add a 4-pin ATX cable for more CPU power. I know not everyone can be happy, but 3 CPU cables is too many.

  • Internal components
Cons
  • Quality

Fixed noise issue

My system had a 2004 HX650. I recently bought a 14cm Noctura CPU cooler, the system was still quite loud. I zeroed my 3 14cm fans but the noise problem was still there. I thought the 7 year old PS was the culprit. I installed the RMX 750 and now it's pretty damn quiet. Worth the cost and effort. If Microsoft Windows 11 now allows a 7th generation Intel processor, I can run this machine for another 5 years and not generate any more e-waste.

Totally enamored

Pros
  • Good product for its price
Cons
  • weak

The wires are too short.

Wires are too short for correct case assembly. Too short to properly hide and out of sight. I love Corsaire but I really think they made the electrical cords cheaper. Potential Pandemic Spending Cuts? All I know is that both of my old Corsaire APUs came with a nice upgraded material case, and the Thermaltake APU I bought came with it too. It doesn't generally matter right now, but I think it shows that Corsaire is cutting costs. This came with cables and wires in a clear plastic bag instead of…

Works great, good quality.

In terms of build quality, electrical performance and built in protection, this is one of the best power supplies you can buy. Possibly the best in the 80plus gold efficiency range. Pros: Very quiet, virtually silent until I go over 300w when the fan turns on. My system is 5800x and 2070 Super so I only use 300w when playing a demanding game. For example, in Rocket League or other low-demand games, the PSU fan won't even turn on. - Build quality. - I think it looks good if you care, neutral…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly dented
