Unreliable mouse made worse by iCUE software

Revise this review; in less than 3 weeks it got worse. I'm an IT specialist. My computer is reliable; I have uninstalled and clean installed all associated drivers and software to fix these issues but they persist. I searched in vain for answers almost every day. I went to Corsair support and manually reinstalled the onboard mouse driver. The side thumb buttons are a constant problem. On a given day they work too: don't work at all only when iCUE is running or closed, but never needing to remap

Pros
  • Gaming mice
Cons
  • Minor issues

It's a bit big and came loose a few times

I don't have tiny hands and when using the camera body I like that others say it's quite big. This mouse is bigger but with good grip. The non-slip surface is good and the wheel and buttons are properly placed. I had issues with the mouse not being visible to the system. This has only happened a couple of times and finding a way to reset the mouse even after updating the firmware seems to have fixed the issue. The settings via the iCue software are illogical, but the software has someโ€ฆ

Nit-Noid Review: Disappointing Mouse

Basics: Large 86g wide viewing angle mouse in the style of the Sensei 310 but with a 3327 sensor capable of up to 12400dpi. Dual Zone RGB. Uses iCue software. A DPI button on top. Thumb buttons on both sides, a total of 8. The period of use before noting was two days. This is an unusually short timeframe for me to review a mouse, 4-8 days is normal, but I didn't want to put off reviewing while others are contemplating a purchase. The TL:DR is that there's a lot to like here, but the level ofโ€ฆ
