Good Design/Good Product

I bought this cover for a fixed evaporative cooler. The lid is well made, especially for the price - excellent value for money. And I couldn't find an exact fit for my cooler, but this cover comes in a variety of sizes so the sizes I need are close enough to look good and stay in place. a strong cover on the outer part of the cooler box, then the wind will surely blow and knock off the cover. So. Remember, you must have an outer cover for your cooler, which is what I make, and it's heavy canvas

  • Convenient - In the lower right corner of the cover there is a small hole for the AC power cord.

I think this just saved me at least $3,000.

A few months ago I moved into a new apartment and set up my bedroom in the back room of the house, which is an annex to the main building. The room always seemed MUCH colder than anywhere else in the house, although everything in the apartment is fine and I hate the cold! I used a heater which always makes me nervous and I was considering getting a ductless mini split system for the area which would cost me at least $3000. I noticed that a draft was coming. through the wall of the air…

Not designed for very cold climates

I plan to use these heaters for window blocks that I don't want to remove in the winter. We live in a part of the country where temperatures can drop slightly below freezing (F) for long periods of time. These covers are too light to really protect against the cold. However, I solved the problem by first gluing the 3/4" thick foam insulation to the size of the A/C front, THEN putting this cover over the foam. I will edit this review if it still doesn't work The laces keep the case in place but…

  • Protect your air conditioner - Prevents the air conditioner from clogging with dust, dirt and other small debris when not in use. Reduce heating costs in winter by no longer having to remove and reinstall your air conditioning system.

Helps with drafts on air conditioner parts and accessories

I have a cover on my very drafty air conditioner and it works. most of time. It still has air going through it, and I'm guessing that air is going through the hole intended for the cable. Because the plug on my air conditioner is so big, it won't fit through this hole. I rolled a blanket under the air conditioner to keep the lid as tight as possible, but I haven't been able to keep all the air in yet. A work in progress, but it's way better than nothing! 02/15/2020 This cover does not suit me…

Pros
  • Energy Saving - 210D Polyester/Cotton Room Air Conditioner Cover Blocks drafts from wind and cold air through air conditioners, covers the inside of a window air conditioner and can also be used with appropriately sized wall units.

Don't expect much from the

I ordered the correct size but had to use the built in adjustable strap to lace it up a little tighter. When I pulled on one side of the strap, the plastic cork fell off. Luckily I managed to pin it back onto the ribbon with a crochet hook. However, the cover didn't seem comfortable enough for me. So, using a wide elastic left over from a sewing project, I made a continuous "belt" to sit around the cover and hold it tight against the A/C. Then I noticed that with strong winds, the lid swelled…

Decent construction, pretty good fit. but

The main problem with the PSU cover is that the hole for the connector is too small and unusable. I initially liked the cover. Neat construction, good fit. But I found two main issues with the cover: First, the hole for the power cord and plug is on the right side. My air conditioner has a cable on the left side. I turned the lid inside out and that temporarily fixed the problem and looks pretty much the same except the size adjusters are now inside. The second more important problem is that…
