Oh my god these sponges smell disgusting. I bought them to use in my colored pencil work but they fall apart easily. As soon as I opened the packaging I noticed a sour/chemical smell. I put them in a box and let them air out outside for over 3 hours. You still smell. Yes they were ok for the price but I'd rather pay more and buy something that doesn't smell and works better.

My eldest is starting to experiment with makeup (mainly for cosplay and dress up) and I'm always on the lookout for decent makeup sponges like glitter and crèmes. We even use this kind of sponge for crafts. Can be used wet or dry and my more expensive sponges are unattainable.

If you have sensitive skin, this is an absolute NO! Plus a horrible chemical smell, god knows what's really in those products you put on your face. Don't buy them or you'll end up with a rash all over your face like mine.

Cosmetic sponges can be used in many cases. I use them for decoupage in some projects. You can of course use them for makeup, but my next project is to trim one to the shape of the eyebrows and make an eyebrow stamp.

They are smaller than the sponges I'm used to and very soft and gentle. Not recommended for liquid foundation. Maybe suitable for powder makeup.

They are not soft, they are too tight and don't really stretch at all like some of the others I've bought. It completely absorbs all makeup and you will find that you use more product than intended.
