Seems to be a good product.

This toothpaste hasn't seen any obvious changes yet, but we've only just started using it. We'll continue to use it a few times a week to see how well it works. Doesn't stain our sink like other charcoal toothpastes do. I liked the taste and will continue to use it. Many Thanks.

Decent price for a good product

I like this charcoal powder. I have two reservations: I've heard conflicting reports on the benefits/risks of using powdered charcoal for teeth. So proceed with caution and don't blindly believe claims that this product is great for oral health. Second, I haven't given up my regular toothpaste. I use this in addition to the toothpaste maybe 1-2 times a day for a week or two. I'm not sure but I think I've seen results. After powdering, I feel like my smile has gotten a little whiter. I don't…

Your mileage may vary

I've heard that charcoal is something natural that can be used to whiten teeth, but after a week or so I still haven't noticed much of an improvement. Therefore, your mileage may vary depending on the product type. Pros: It's not thick at all as the powder is very fine and easy to apply to teeth. Does not stain skin or tongue/lips. Not bad taste. Cons: Needs to be brushed with it 2 times a day (seems like a lot if you already brush your teeth 2 times a day). It is messy when rinsing because it…

Good mix of ingredients but messy

I confess after hearing all the hype about charcoal powder teeth whitening many years ago I made my own batch. Yes, I'm that frugal. I figured I could save a ton by grinding up some of the activated charcoal I had in my bag unused. Did it work? Yes. Was it safe? Who knows. In hindsight I had no idea if it was edible or not. I just remembered that there was a huge mess. This product doesn't differ in the clutter department. I highly recommend using a small spoon and placing it in a smaller…

Very dirty and not much difference.

This activated carbon powder is just not for me. I've been using it for a few weeks now and have only noticed a slight difference in the color of my teeth. The powder is very fine and can easily be scattered if you're not careful, and when you rinse your mouth it may take a few times to get all the black residue off your gums and teeth. I found the taste moderately pleasant, but it's too messy and time consuming for me. I will come back to whitening strips.

Not bad but not for me

Was skeptical about this product but my husband said he had heard good things about activated charcoal toothpaste in general so I gave it a try. Fair warning this is messy. The charcoal goes everywhere and if you use too much you get an almost medicinal taste in your mouth (make me hang myself). I would like to say positively, it seems to have increased the sense of cleanliness as we have used carbon toothbrushes before and I felt better with a regular toothbrush. I feel like it's gone a step…

Great polish/powder, not for everyday use

We've been using charcoal toothpaste for years and decided to give this a try. It's a varnish, so not for everyday use. The instructions say to use for 30 days (probably once a year?). I personally use polish either once a week or a few days a month. If you use polish too often, the enamel will wear away from your teeth. On polishing days I also occasionally use a professional tooth polish (coarse grit). I just fill my toothbrush with regular toothpaste and then sprinkle charcoal polish on top.

Great Natural Tooth Powder

This is one of the best tooth powders I have ever used. It cleans my teeth great and I've noticed a big difference in the amount of debris that builds up on my teeth. I myself will remove the growths between my regular dental check-ups (which are going pretty well and I'm in my 40's). With most other natural toothpastes, I usually have to brush at home once or twice a week. With this toothpowder, it's not even a week - pretty impressive. I'm not a fan of super sudsy toothpastes (my husband…
