Advantages: Soft, well made. Disadvantage: 1. Less than advertised. Mine were 5.5 x 5.25. 2. Strong smell of rubber. 3. The attached Velcro has a very stiff backing with a sharp edge. About 1/8 inch of this sharp edge is not covered by another Velcro flap. Uncomfortable unless you make sure you don't flip this piece backwards whatever you put it on.

It's great. I will use them for two purposes. One is for the main handle on my luggage and the other is for my laptop bag. My laptop bag is one of the larger ones, with a sturdy plastic handle that wasn't bad to hold, but made it even better with the addition of a handle. Nice extra for the suitcase. I personally bought them to highlight my suitcase (mainly for baggage claim). 3 was the perfect number as I could attach the top, side and bottom handles. If the wrong person "accidentally" grabs your suitcase, they will know immediately by touching/seeing those handles. I was afraid they might fall off but they are quite solid and sealed.
