The comforter appeared to be very thin - not sure if it could be used year round as Iowa is quite cold in the winter. But it's perfect for summer/spring/fall. It really is king size and the color is beautiful (I ordered ivory).

In fact, I was so happy with what we ordered for our home that I ordered another one for our RV. It's super light which is perfect for our needs and best of all it's washable! If we wish we can add a blanket for extra warmth when winter comes again.

I love the feel of these sheets. They are light and cool, feel great on the skin. I have washed them in the washing machine several times and the fabric is still great. I noticed that a thread broke in the middle of the blanket during the wash, but I don't mind. I really like these sheets and comforters.

Quilt feels light and comfortable; However, I ordered platinum and it's a lot brighter than the picture and a lot lighter than I expected. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite fit in my room now. Also, I have a queen bed and I ordered a king bed because I like the extra duvet. Glad I ordered more. The king is basically like the queen. Also, some seams seemed to stick together, which is why they "got lost" in certain places. Not a terrible comforter, but not impressed.
