Worth more than I paid

As others have said it has a bright white LED but is compact, comes with a chain to attach to a keychain and works well. There is no trouble inserting and removing the micro SD card. Very compact.

practical in computers and accessories

So far, so good. Firmness may depend on the thickness of your SD card, but mine works fine, maybe even a little loose. The biggest problem is losing it if it falls out.

Surprisingly small purple USB microSD card reader

This is the smallest USB stick in the world, the PC recognizes microSD files as files from a USB stick. This is so cool and handy since most large PCs don't have a microSD card slot. :) Can be used where there is no MicroSD slot, only USB.

Difficult to insert and remove SD card

I like that it is nice and compact, but unfortunately it is too difficult to insert a micro SD card and almost impossible to remove an already inserted micro SD card. Now I'm trying to pull it out with tweezers. My advice is save your money and buy something better.

Works, but doubles as an unwanted beacon!

Super bright white LED that stays on was not mentioned anywhere in the product description. I would send it back, but honestly it's not worth going to the Revain Locker for an item that only costs $4.

It's inconsistent to use it with a Respberry Pi. There are no problems with the PC.

I bought these specifically for use on the Raspberry Pi 4. By default, the Pi uses a microSD card for the operating system. But you can also boot from USB. That's why I bought this - I could skip the microSD card slot on the PI and use the USB ports. But often my Pi would not boot up. I also tried using it as a storage device for the Pi but it wasn't recognized. I had no problems using it on a regular PC.
