It was exactly what I needed and more. I embroidered a landscape with birds in a numbered cross and it was the right size.

The only thing I don't like about it is that the quantity is too high but it's my fault I didn't take a closer look before getting it. This is intended for very fine, detailed work, so make sure you have a well-lit area to work in as this can strain your eyes. But it's a nice, dense fabric, so it's easy to work with. I still use the hoop because it makes it easier to hold it when I'm working. It was easy to cut and I love that it was one big piece so you can choose the size you want.

I love working on Aida 18 but for some reason it's hard to find an already frozen (/starched?) canvas from Aida! I prefer not to stretch and I do fairly small details. This fabric is comfortable to hold. I bought both black and white. Both correspond to what black and white should be. It really is 18 holes per inch. The only downside for some is only 12 inches wide and 59 inches long. The width is short, but then again - I don't work with big chunks. Works great for me! You may find a better…
