Excellent in a pinch: kitchen and dining room

Bought for a stoveless period on a kitchen renovation. It's durable and functional. This isn't the fastest method of cooking food because the burners aren't very hot. Use it for quick lunches and for a teapot. I was glad I have it. It would be great for a hostel if you are careful. Also great for the holidays when you need extra space to heat or even keep food warm.

Infrared. The handles were too close to the stove in person and you would probably burn yourself.

The position of the handle makes no sense to me. This is in inches from the left burner. Even closer if you have a pot or pan. They get insanely hot. It's one of those things at SMH that makes me wonder who approved this design lol. Otherwise I think it's great. My sweet grandma can't use it so I have to return it due to this simple misjudgment.

Inexpensive hob

I chose this product because the cast-iron stove takes too long to heat up. Cast iron takes about 5 minutes to fully heat up, while this infrared oven only takes about a minute. In addition, it is of course easier to clean. So far happy with the purchase. The only downside is that it's barely hot enough to cook in thicker pans, but I guess that's to be expected given the 900W limit. Edit: The glass tabletop can no longer be cleaned well after a while.

I'm happy with that. Suitable for table burners

I like the look. Very stylish and elegant, unlike most electric torches. Surprisingly light weight which makes it easy to put away when I need back room. Heats up significantly faster than my previous single burner (Oster). My previous single burner had a cast iron heating element and was impossible to keep clean and looking good with food spilled and burned on it, so I think the infrared glass version is worth the extra $20.

Well made, won't damage/burn your dishes!

Bought after a house fire, out of gas in the middle of a pandemic. This was the first time I've used an infrared cooking device and I have to say I'm very happy with the results👍It obviously doesn't heat up as quickly as a gas stove, but the even heat distribution makes up for it. It also heats the center of your pot/pan more than a traditional gas range. The most notable feature I find with infrared technology is how gentle it is on my cookware.
