Description of Country Brook Design 2 Inch Black Heavy Polypropylene (Polypro) Webbing - 25 Yards: Durable and Versatile Material for Various Applications

25 YARDS | 2 INCH WIDTH | Approximately .066 Inch or 1.68mm thick. 1,600 LB TENSILE | This heavy polypro webbing has a tensile strength of 1,600 lbs; keep in mind that tensile strength is the average breaking point under good conditions at the factory. We recommend using no more than 25% of tensile strength. OUTDOOR USE | Ideal for outdoor applications, this heavyweight strap is a must-have when camping, boating, rafting and more. It's also easy to work with because of the flexibility. HEAVY DUTY | Versatile and lightweight, but durable enough for your heavy-duty applications! Please note that some rolls may contain factory splices. If you need a continuous roll without splices, please let us know. FUNCTIONAL | Soft to the touch, this polypro webbing is easy to work with and flexible.

Good low elastic band.

I used this to fix some expensive dining room chairs that were starting to sag. This is a good product that doesn't stretch too much so it offers good comfort and holds up well for us.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • something went wrong

Upgrade from the original model

I bought this to reconnect a swing bench bought a long time ago (maybe 10 years?). It's strong and an update of what was installed. I would recommend lightly burning the cut ends if you repeat my use. I've noticed that melting the ends holds the screw much better and prevents the screw from trying to pull on the fibers during installation.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Unreliable

Ideal for strong and durable chair webbing

I used it to make a wicker garden chair seat. One roll was more than enough for two large chairs. The material seems very strong and sturdy; not at all like the nylon material used in lightweight folding chairs. It's more of a strapping material. It cuts easily with a kitchen knife heated with a propane torch and won't crumble.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Good basic webbing at a very reasonable price

This is a single layer webbing that is stiff enough to lay without twisting but flexible enough not to cut. Slightly less flexible/softer than the average seat belt at the end of model cars. Unlike soft or cotton braids, it cannot be tied into a tight knot. In this way, the functional knot can be easily released from above, even when it is really unloaded. If you want a strong, non-slip knot, use a water knot, which is the correct way to tie straps. I make straps for djembe drums and other…

Very nice and durable strap

This strap fits me perfectly. I had some ratchet straps for my trailer that I wanted to lengthen and the idea with all the black straps seemed crisp and clean. The strap was exactly 2.0 inches wide so I didn't feel a short, they were also quite thick like the original straps I had which were rated at 330 pounds so I'm assuming these straps are the same gauge becomes. I cut my new straps to length, leaving about 4 inches extra for the hooks to fold, and used my sewing machine to sew a few zig…

Pros
  • Sturdy workmanship
Cons
  • Damaged
