A good keystone is easy to install in the patch panel.

In fact, they fit right into my patch panel and snap into place. The quality is good, I would buy them again. This is great if you don't want to use Keystone.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

One doesn't work. best in category Computers and accessories

Checked all 25 connectors. One doesn't work. As can be seen in the photo, wire 7 and wire 8 are not connected. I will try to contact the seller because I need them now and don't want to return them.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine

Some jacks stopped working after a week

Initially all jacks worked but after a week some jacks stopped working. Upgrading about 1/3 of the plugs no longer works after three weeks. I confirmed using different plugs with the same wires only to find out that some plugs stopped working.

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Expensive

They work to test my wired camera network before I run new cables

I have some good quality network cables that are often too short to connect to the various points on the camera that I have tested. By using these built in connectors I can reuse several shorter cables for testing at a remote location. If the test site proves suitable, I may be able to replace the test leads attached to the in-line ferrule with new full-length, one-piece leads. I'm also testing the effectiveness of wrapping these built-in connectors with self-adhesive silicone tape to make them

Pros
  • Cat 6 cables
Cons
  • are not reliable

I connect my house to ethernet for my home network, wired guest network and VOIP network. I had white ports for data and blue ports for VOIP and the black ports I use for wired IoT devices (CCTV cameras mostly). These jacks fit securely into my Keystone faceplates and are mechanically strong. The sockets (front and rear) make for a solid connection and have not caused any problems so far. For me, the most beautiful thing about trapezoidal sheets, sockets and plugs is when they don't surprise me

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • New competitors are here

A key element of our home renovation project

The house was built in the late 1990's. We had the foresight to ask the builder to install conduit instead of running the cables directly into the walls. We can then route any cables we want fairly easily. We used Cat5 everywhere back then, and in recent years we have very slowly upgraded to Cat6. Our modem, switch and main computers are in the home office so it's all Cat6 there, but it's time to expand to the rest of the house. We have a cable run that we just upgraded to Cat6 from our homeโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Computers and accessories
Cons
  • Long delivery time
