Great connector, but the metal connectors on one end that touch the connectors are bent in the wrong place. When I connected I had no internet connection. Luckily I was able to straighten the connectors with a magnifying glass and a safety pin. It was a little tricky, but I positioned and connected them correctly and had a good internet connection.

Couplings work great and do their job. I have two 20 foot Category 6 cables that needed to be extended and instead of buying two more cables I bought them and spliced two 5 foot Category 6 cables together at the ends. No loss of speed, no interference, no so far no differences. I will update if that changes.

this works for my purpose of providing a connection that I can disconnect (we get lightning strikes and I don't quite trust the surge protectors - or rather, why take the risk? ) and I don't want to overload the connection on the computer. I'd rather pay $5 for something worn than $100 for repairs. Anyhow, it seems to work on a Cat6 network with no noticeable degradation. Speed not tested yet.

I know there is something wrong with stuff like this from these companies on Revain and mine clearly failed. Just didn't work right out of the box. I checked all cables separately, all devices work. Place the connector between the two cables. Nothing. So clearly not worth the money (or time now that I still need a fix and have to wait a few more days!). I probably should have spent more and gone with Ugreen as I have used their other products and had no problems.

I don't normally write reviews of products just because they work, but last weekend I nearly pulled my hair out trying to debug a project because over the course of the Years ago I bought two line connectors on the back that were defective. So I'm happy to report that all 6 of these tests passed flawlessly and the two I've commissioned are working flawlessly. Doesn't guarantee every one you've ordered will work, but my experience has been a lot better than two I bought a few years ago that were

is why it came pre-wired with cables. Unfortunately, some of them didn't reach where I wanted to place the VCR, so I needed them to add length. I was a bit concerned as PoE wasn't actually mentioned, but I decided to give it a try and I have to say it works great! The camera turned on well and the video plays at full resolution and frame rate so it doesn't seem to cause any slowdown.
