High quality entrance door at a reasonable price. Please note that product measurements refer to the actual door, not the door frame. So a 6" x 9" device with bezel is closer to 7" x 10". A simple, chic design that should harmonize well when painted.

Solid panel, strong with easy hinge action. I wouldn't recommend it for drywall though. The depth of the frame is greater than that of standard drywall. So if you have a stand in the way or need to move around the frame, use a saw to cut our section of your stand to fit. They recommend a simple glue. for fixing the panel to the wall. But the door is a bit heavy and it would be better if it was fixed with screws. Unfortunately, not all of the pre-drilled screw holes line up for drywall mounting.

What a great product. I placed the tile exactly where I wanted the hole, cut it out, wrapped the Schluter Kerdi felt around the edges of the hole, and then pressed the hidden panel into place. I added 4 screws through the drywall to hold the board in place and tiled it. It takes patience to cut the tiles perfectly and continue drawing on the face, but I think it looks pretty decent. Well made hatch door with a glossy powder coat finish. I used it to hide some plumbing valves in the ceiling of my basement laundry room. I had a rough hole 16 1/4 x 16 1/4. Most of the other hatches I looked at needed more than this rough opening. This hatch fits perfectly. The white powder coating also looks good. The product was also well packaged.
