I bought 2 sets and am so happy with them I bought 2 more. I use them in 3 ounce and 5.5 ounce cans from Wellness, Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, and Royal Canin kitten and cat foods. They form tight seals on these cans. Lids are made of flexible material. Leftovers are simply rinsed off in the sink. I wash in the top drawer of the dishwasher with no problems. I really don't like the fact that there are different size connectors in each cap. I bought them because I really thought I would like them because they would take up less space; however, i don't like them. I find them awkward to use. Putting it on requires some finesse. However, the worst thing for me is that the cutouts for these different landings fill up with leftover food that needs brushing and requires a bit of effort as it has multiple lid heels. My cats never eat whole cans and I try to buy good food. So if I serve a whole can, it goes to waste. These lids make it easier to store open food jars (in the fridge). I was a little skeptical about the material it's made of (sort of silicone/soft plastic), it doesn't look like it's supposed to work, but it does. They're actually a lot easier to put on than the more common hard plastic ones, I don't usually have time to wrestle with them and end up just tossing the whole can in the cat's bowl.
