Remove brass plug, good luck. I

Remove brass plug good luck. Sent the first one back because I had to use a lot of torque to remove the brass plug, sent it back never used. Get another one, damn tight, just like the first one. I'll try again, if it streaks and won't budge I'll buy elsewhere

Cheap junk works best for pressure and vacuum testers

I own and run an auto repair shop and have been in the business for almost 30 years. This junk is the biggest waste of money and time of my career. I've been waiting for it for three days and now I can't even use it. The brass plug used for ZERO PURPOSE FIRST PLACE does not come out of the cap. It broke with very little effort. I remove broken and stripped exhaust bolts, cap screws, spark plugs and other tricky removals every day. Me and two of my techs with machine shop experience can't figure

Use heat to remove the useless brushed brass connector.

Helped me. The brass plug is removed as per other reviews here. Propane torch to heat up and it came right out. Not sure why it's used. External threads need protection (in my opinion). The fuel tank mount is looser than we would like. However, I was able to diagnose the faulty fuel pump at 10#. I'll amend my rating to see if the lid stays closed with the appropriate pressure. I'll come back to the OEM cap after a diagnosis. After a new fuel pump and a set of blue spring seals, I'm back in the…
