Good stuff: Body and trim

A bit fiddly to install (and you want to make sure the surface you're applying to is CLEAN), but it really works. The 2010 model I sold this year still had my original application and none of it came off.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Wheel cast good for spares

This is a fantastic product. So easy to use. Clean the area with rubbing alcohol a few times and it should last forever. The red 3M tape that comes with this product has always been the best. Don't worry here!

Pros
  • Body
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Fender flares work best on wheel arches

I used this to work around the wheel arches of an SUV. Black is harder to find as most are chrome, but the car is black and looks like a factory seat. Easy to apply and sticks very well.

Pros
  • Fender flares
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Protects the edges of the wheel arches / improves the look

Easy assembly. Looks good. Protects the edges of the wheel arches from dents and chipped paint. I chose black because I like the understated look and my model has a lot of chrome trim. I've washed my car several times since installing it with no problems. Worth the time and money.

Pros
  • Bodywork and molding
Cons
  • There are nuances

Protect your car's paintwork and your wallet.

The car dealership where I buy my cars puts similar trim around the wheel arches and along the door edges on the cars once they reach the dealer lot, and then charges $295 for the 'Protection Package'. This self-adhesive kit lets you do the job yourself. In practice, they help protect the car from stone chips which, if not repaired, lead to rusting, then paint blasting and finally panel corrosion. Rust never sleeps, so don't give him a chance to start. Another installation location for these…
