This car sun shade was a complete waste of money. As my tests showed, it didn't protect my car's interior from the sun's harmful rays at all. The design is extremely flimsy and wouldn't even stay in place properly. The only positive thing I can say is that the pattern was cute.

My kids and I love it! I would rate them as opacity which is about 20% tint which means kids can nap with them and stay cooler in the car but I can also roll down the windows to keep the sun out. I also used them for camping. My car is on road trips, so I can keep the windows open so all those bugs in Minnesota can't get to me. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.

So I bought these for a few trips to hot climates. They work, they really block the sun, help keep kids' faces out of the sun while they sleep, and I don't have to take them off when I'm not using them. come loose a bit over time so they move a bit when the door opens and closes which causes them to stretch out so I had to stretch them quite far over the door to reduce street noise.
