🧚 Craftastic Fairy Potions: Magical Crafting for Enchanting Results Review

My daughter loves this set. She's made all her potions and she still has a few things to do. You can easily add more materials and do this for a long time. Really cute set. Keeps my daughter engaged for a long time and light enough for kids to read by themselves.

This made my 8 year old niece happy for Christmas. The packaging is very high quality, so opening it made a big impression. One reviewer suggested buying more bottles, which I did here at Revain. Apparently that was good advice as there were still a lot of potion ingredients left. ***In this review I was asked to rate the stickiness of this product. I'm happy to say it's not sticky***

We had so much fun crafting! I had my daughter hide the fairy bottles outside after she made them. I went out at night and spilled the "potion" next to some of the new fairies I bought and she said her potions attract fairies! she loved it. When I told her it was just a fake, she asked if we could pretend it was real? And bonus - plastic bottles! I was concerned they were glass and would break, but that was fine.

Although my five year old has enjoyed the last few crafts we've made so far, I did most of the work myself! I was very disappointed that the set I received did not include a wand and only one fairy with one bed instead of two. This is reflected in the box I received but not in the website image. This must be updated if the product has now changed its content. Also, some of the string colors didn't match the instructions in the booklet so it might be confusing for an older child to complete this

So cute! I bought this for my 7 year old daughter as a quarantine craft and it definitely caught her attention! The potions require a little adult help to make, but they are absolutely beautiful! Her older sister and grandmother have already stolen some! The best part is the welcome potion with unicorn hair and fairy wings - the colors blend so beautifully and it looks really magical! My granddaughter who will soon be 10 loved this set! I enjoyed watching her do it. She could do everything herself. The only problem she had was using "unicorn hair". These are strands of iridescent cellophane, and it's hard to put them in a bottle. We ended up wrapping it around our finger then pulling it into a tight bun and then tucking it in. There are also many materials for crafting all bottles. We don't have much left and will be looking for empty bottles to make more. The only downside…

This gift was the highlight of a birthday. We made so many potions that we had to order more bottles of Revain to keep making them! The 20ml bottles are about the same size as the included plastic bottles, but are only easy to find in glass versions. Bought additional 20ml bottles for next day delivery so we can do more! The glow in the dark sand tends to stick to the corners of the bottles even when you shake them. Maybe try stirring it with a straw or something before you're done? Must try…

I'm a 5th generation witch with roots in Roanoke, so I know my potions. It's very hard to find a good preschool enrichment for witch children so this was a lucky find.
