These blades are not designed for outdoor use. I bought these blades for my patio fan and found that the blades are already bending. I live in the south and it's very hot and humid there and I think the blades are warping from the heat. I installed these blades in mid June and now it's July and they are flexing. In short, the blades aren't designed for outdoor use, they just aren't designed to work at high temperatures.

We ordered these replacement blades even though they weren't made for our fan because the blades we had on our porch were sagging from moisture. We had to re-drill the holes to fit, but we managed to use the old blades as a template. They look good now I just hope they can withstand moisture! Update: 4 months later the new fan blades are also sagging! Not as strong as the old ones, but they still don't work well. Does anyone have a good source for fan blades that won't warp?

So, disappointed. I contacted the seller because these blades did not fit any of my three ceiling fans. The seller replied and said they were only for craftmade fans. Their description said "Standard 52" blades". They said I could send them back for a refund but I would have to pay for shipping. Unfortunately I paid for the shipping costs for the blades. At first I wanted to take the blades off and spray them, but then I decided to see if I could find replacement blades. I found these blades and they worked great! What I like: They are made of real wood and have a good finish. When you buy blades you need to measure where the holes need to match, so use your old blades to measure.

Hole spacing dimensions are not listed anywhere in the product description. You have no way of knowing whether or not these blades will fit your blade mounts. If you buy these blades and then find out (like me) that they don't fit you, you can send them back - at your own expense. The shipping cost for these blades both ways will be more than the refund amount. Do the math. So before you spend money like I did (my hasty and hopeful mistake), make sure the product is right for your application…
