🔴 CRAFTSMAN CMXZTSG1087NB 1/4-inch Male Push Button Coupler, Red: Reliable and Convenient Coupling Solution Review

I have both male and female versions of these connectors and my ratings are the same. They are much easier to use than the traditional pull-out type. It's a decent weight, but not as much as a traditional clutch. It's made in China, but Craftsman is a brand that can usually be trusted. The button works well and the clutch closes securely. I definitely recommend it.

This Air Line Quick Coupler Receptacle The coupler works so easily compared to the standard type we are all used to. Kids often try to help me change air tools from my air hose and struggle with the old sliding reverse air couplers. With this new CRAFTSMAN air coupler, simply press a button to remove the air line. I have to admit I like this one too. Time will tell how well the plastic body holds up compared to my old brass couplers.

If you have never used this style of knob on your air lines then do not buy it unless you are looking to replace all of your air line fittings. This style is a huge improvement over the old style. No more fiddling with the air line when wearing gloves that always seem to pinch when you turn the tool on. With this style, all you have to do is paste it. You no longer have to pull the ring first. When detaching, just double tap the button and the tool will pop out instantly. Couldn't be easier.

I expected this faucet to be more spirited than it really is. But it releases the pressure with a push of a button and then releases the tool with a second push. And reseating the tool is pretty easy, even at 120psi. There is never a strong hiss of air when inserting or releasing the tool. Overall, this makes changing tools quicker and easier. It also works with my automotive and industrial gear. For a few euros you get many amenities. And it looks like it will last a few years with average…

The video says it all, but it's a pretty cool adapter. As with the newer ring adapters that hold the ring so that you can just plug the male end into the socket, this is a simple push-to-connect operation. Just like the o-ring on my new compressor, the part stays trapped and sealed when you detach the hose by pressing the button. This coupling can be used in place of the standard female coupling. It's easy to insert and even easier to remove. The button disconnects your instrument from the catenary but keeps it physically connected. Another push and it goes out. Works well. The button appears to be plastic, I can't figure it out, but it seems solid. The rest is aluminum with a red plastic coating and will withstand drops and drags through the store. Good quality. This is a pretty neat design and it still works well. You press the button once and the quick release releases a little to deflate your tool. Press the button a second time and the Quick Connect will appear. When you insert the quick connector to reconnect, make sure you insert it all the way (insert it all the way and you will hear a series of two clicks confirming correct installation).
