Lost remote replaced

Good - not usually much luck finding and replacing lost items like a garage door remote. This arrived on time and can be programmed. Thanks for installing the battery. I was able to follow the clear setup instructions and the remote was up and running in less than 3 minutes.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Negative impression

Will not fit keypads or remote controls

I have a garage door opener that is easy to install, new controls. This controller contains conflicting information. The instructions state that the batteries are positive side up while the controller itself is positive side down. I've tried both ways and neither of them work. After many failed attempts in a hot garage I will be returning this item.

  • GOLS certified

  • Will not fit all

Garage Door Opener for Keypads and Remotes

Now that the garage door opener is activated it works. The only downside is that after opening the box it says void the warranty. If you don't open the box you will never know it works because you just don't push the button to see if it works, you have to get very close to the garage door opener box on your garage ceiling and follow the instructions. .Many Thanks

Perfect replacement

I sold my car and abandoned my garage door opener never to get it back. I have a garage door opener, I don't know the model. seconds. I waited two weeks to assemble it thinking it would be difficult, I watched a video on the internet on how to do it and was amazed at the success in such a short time. I'm guessing my garage door opener was circa 1990-1995. .

Pros
  • Good product for the price

Doesn't work on building materials

I'm ordering two of these garage door openers. Each was fitted with 2 3v 2016 batteries. None of the garage door openers worked when trying to sync with the red learn button. Have now ordered new batteries, will try again. I think all 4 batteries are dead. Now the cost of these openers has only increased by $10. Aggravation! If the new batteries do not work, a lower rating and return of the openers will be presented.

Perfect Match best in Building Materials

Researched and finally found one that I thought would work because I needed an extra one. My garage opener is outdated but this one was perfect. Press the learn button on the back of the motor and it flashed and pressed the button on the remote control. It worked the first time! The only problem I have is that I have to stick it out the window to open or close the door, but I think it's a battery problem because my old remote had the same problems when the battery started , to sit down, so…

Works but needs a battery

Looks the same as the old one that died. I tried connecting it to a ceiling opener but that didn't work. I took it apart to try the new battery and found that instead of the 3V CR2032 batteries, there were two stacked CR2016 batteries. I replaced them with new CR2032 and they connected and worked fine. Two CR2016 batteries stacked on top of each other will fit in a CR2032 holder, but will provide 6V instead of 3V. I don't know if the voltage difference (and actually the smaller wattage…

PERFECT REPLACEMENT - Identical to Original

Exact low cost replacement for many older Craftsman garage door openers. You can easily determine replacement compatibility by looking at the back of your old remote and if you see the part number 139.53681B then this remote is working. Quick Tip: If your garage door's wired wall switch has a button to turn the garage opener light on and off separately, you can quickly set up a new remote control without climbing a ladder or pressing buttons on the drive unit (see Programming for details in the
