Nice Enough: Picture Frame

The frame was light weight and a nice colour. The faceplate was plastic and had an insane amount of static build-up, making it difficult to frame without getting every bit of fluff flung around at it. I would have preferred a glass panel but the plastic does the job. In general I am satisfied and for this size the price is not bad.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • No Paint Required

Still a very nice frame.

very nice frame. The texture and color of the wood is excellent. Note, however, that it has a cheaper support system where you bend small pieces of metal, rather than a prettier version where you twist parts in a frame. So if you rephrase a few times, they can start to unravel. Just something to be aware of. Overall a good frame for the money.

Fine craftsmanship

This frame is absolutely perfect in many ways. The workmanship is excellent, it is very easy to hang and the plexiglass is well protected from scratches. We used this frame to update our 16x20 matte wedding photo above the fireplace and we absolutely love how amazing it looks. You can't go wrong! We remember Craig's frames for the frames we want to update our home with.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Long wait

Well packaged, fast delivery, good quality

This frame was packaged very well and was in excellent condition when it arrived. I had no trouble removing the protective film from the plexiglass as others have reported. In fact, it took about 10 seconds per side, which is generous. The frame is well made, but just so you know, it's not real solid wood or glass. The finished product looked great! I would buy this again!

  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Amazing shots. for picture frames

I've spent hundreds, I mean hundreds on picture frames and mats that we bought on our travels. I love these shots. I can't say enough good things about her. They arrived earlier than expected and every frame is just perfect. I know a lot of people want glass, but my local ACE store sells glass panels for less than $5. So if I really want it, I can get it for a lot less than any frame shop in my area. I will buy more frames from this company.

  • Keeping My Fists
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price

the frame insert is plastic not glass ---

This is a very nice frame, it fits the photo perfectly and is light weight which is handy for hanging. I was a bit disappointed that the photo coating is plastic rather than glass as it picks up dirt/dust/fog more easily than glass. I prefer glass to photographs, especially the 16x20 photographs that hang so prominently on the wall. It's a really good frame, I just think a glass panel instead of plastic will take the presentation up a notch.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Requires a power outlet

Very disappointed

I bought this frame to display my daughter's watercolor. I was disappointed that a 16x20 mat was advertised and I did not receive it. I also didn't realize that the picture was covered in plexiglass instead of real glass and the barn finish wasn't what I expected. Very disappointed that I spent $45 on a frame. Not worth it, especially without carpet. The only good thing I can say is that it was packaged very well for shipping. Think twice before you buy.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Almost everything is included

AVOID! This thing is barely worth half the price - CHEAP!

I am so disappointed with this frame. I'm not sure if it's worth returning such a large item (I ordered 20x24). There were gaps in two corners of the frame (pictured). The wood-like part is made from a very cheap and malleable material, not glass but acrylic, which is said to make the frame very light, but combined with the generally poor quality of the frame, it just feels different. the reason why this frame doesn't cost nearly $60. I wouldn't spend more than 20 euros for it if I knew the…

Don't buy this. Use glass instead.

This frame sucks. It looked very nice but there should be foil on both sides of the acrylic. I easily removed the first layer of foil from the second side where they put this huge sticker that has foil on both sides but there is no foil. I tried everything to start working on this film that was supposed to be there, but it wasn't. I took a pair of scissors and made small cuts in a tiny corner hoping the foil would come loose and it lay right on top of the acrylic meaning there is no foil there.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
