🖍️ Crayola Jumbo Crayons for Toddlers - 8 Assorted Colors - Large Size Review

My 2 year old son broke the tip of a colored pencil. The inside is filled with cardboard or wood or some other material that does not contain wax. I wish it was all shallow, but it isn't. Once the tip broke the entire crayon was unusable for my 2 year old son. He doesn't know how to tilt the crayon to paint, he just holds it upright and because there is some pen in it, he can't paint with the crayon anymore.

After reading many reviews of various Crayola incarnations I decided on this one for my 16 month old daughter. She might be a bit too young for them - she seems far more interested in tossing them out of the box and then putting them back in than actually painting with them. My son is 15 months old and loves to paint when he can find a pen or pencil. So I have this. I was looking for something that I knew wouldn't break and pose a potential choking hazard to my son. He's not very gentle with these crayons and they hold up VERY well! An ideal starting point for children's creativity. We got this for a baby when she was 14 months plus a large drawing pad and she loves it. "Wow!" she exclaims, drawing a pencil across the paper and a line appears. I think it's pretty amazing when you see it for the first time!
