Hard to break and easy to hold - as advertised
After reading many reviews of various Crayola incarnations I decided on this one for my 16 month old daughter. She might be a bit too young for them - she seems far more interested in tossing them out of the box and then putting them back in than actually painting with them. They took a few hits on our tile floor though without breaking, they're a good size for her little hands and she still enjoys them even if she doesn't use them as is. intended for use. Five stars for that. It comes with a classic color set - black, brown, blue, green, orange, yellow, red and purple.
