🎨 Crayola Illuminated Tracing and Coloring Board Review

Considering the legendary Crayola brand, this is a huge disappointment. These are low quality imports, poorly designed and the accessories appear to be made at the lowest possible price. There's very little tracing paper, crappy little pencils, and no batteries included. I bought it for my 7 year old granddaughter and we were all disappointed. I'm surprised Crayola associated his name with this crappy toy.

This is a great buy. With all of today's digital toys, I have a hard time getting my kids interested in toys that don't react or put them in a trance. It was a hit with our seven year old. It contains already drawn images, but you can also start painting and perfect your own drawings if you want and trace them. You can even paint and color the same objects with different scenarios and colors.

My 8 year old loves it! She will circle different drawings of horses and then pass the coloring pages to her 4-year-old sister! It's easy: place the drawing you want to trace on the trackpad, then place a piece of paper on top, turn on the light and trace! I only use computer paper, it works fine. I also print out the drawings from the computer so she can trace many more variations.

I give the Crayola Light-up Tracing Pad a cool review. I ordered two light pillows for my granddaughters, I think the girls will like them. However, when I received my order, I was surprised myself that I spent $24 on this product. Call me old fashioned but for the price I want my item to arrive in perfect condition. I don't know if it works or not. We couldn't remove the tiny screws to insert the batteries into the battery compartment because one of the screws kept turning. We could hack it and just glue the batteries on, but I didn't want to keep re-gluing them. It also arrived with what appeared to be hair under the transparent front and a pink stain of sorts. Actually I had to replace this one with Crayola and this one went back to their QA team. Strangely the one they sent me to replace was different than this one so I'm not sure if it's fake or something but it was TERRIBLE. At first the switch was stuck in the "OFF" position, but when I put the batteries in, the lightbulb came on. Because the switch was stuck (I mean stuck. Like it wouldn't move AT ALL.
