I can't hear well and the microphone isn't very sensitive like the best headphones. I'll try again this week, but so far it's looking so-so. I tried again and the audio is very low and very difficult to hear. I have contacted support and am waiting for a reply. Maybe I got a bad set. Update - After receiving a second set, one earbud failed in less than a month. Save money and buy something decent like Faro or David Clarke.

In my last review, I noticed that two of the headsets I bought had intermittent connections. I contacted CrazedPilot and even though I've had these headsets for over 6 months as the problem appeared to be factory they replaced both headsets with new ones. On the new ones I've found that the stiffer cable has been replaced with a more flexible one and after testing both new sets work well. 5 STARS for headset/price combo and customer service at CrazedPilot.

I bought it 8 months ago and used it 9 times in total. I thought it was a good deal for a functional headset. However, a few days ago I got on a flight and found that the microphone stopped working. I could hear the other person on the plane and ATC, but I couldn't speak to him (intercom) or ATC (radio). I ended up having to borrow a working headset from someone at the airport. I've since tried it on another plane - same result. Would I buy one of these again? nope!

Fits great. The sound quality is okay, but not fantastic. The speakers seem to be slightly biased toward highs and highs, so if you're not careful with noise-cancelling, you'll end up with a lot of tinny hiss. I've flown them twice and they fit MUCH better than the battered ASAs rented from my FBO airfield, but the sound isn't as rich and reliable as the ASA.
