These are really beautiful drapes

I love the color - mine said they were blue, but they actually look slightly green, like a sea foam color (at least to me), which is great because they blend very well with my existing decor.I wouldn't go so far as to say that are blackout drapes; they do block about 85-90% of light. So I guess they fall into the "room-darkening" category. Either way, I've had the best sleep since I purchased these. My bedroom window faces southeast and daylight comes very early in the spring/summer. I get at…

Pros
  • Provides complete blackout for a cozy atmosphere
Cons
  • May not be as effective at blocking out light as other blackout curtains

Good product for the price (But NOT Blackout curtains)

The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because they are NOT blackout curtains (as advertised) but room darkening instead. I knew that when I purchased them, thanks to the purchaser reviews, so it wasn't a problem for me. The quality for the fabric and sewing is very good for the price you are paying. That means, for example, that the length of an individual drape (I purchased 84Lx100W) varies by about 1/2" across that 100" width, which is barely noticable, just not the precision…

Pros
  • Enhances the overall aesthetic value of a room
Cons
  • Limited availability in certain countries

Nice product just a little pricy

I was looking for a specific color of curtain for my daughters room and the purple of this curtain is beautiful and just what I needed. The color shown online matches what you receive. They do block out a lot of light but I don’t know if I would consider them black out. The material and quality is nice but I still think the price was a little high considering I had to buy 2 to cover my windows. I won’t be using this feature, but they did come with a nice band of matching material to tie them…

Pros
  • Soft texture adds warmth to the room
Cons
  • May not fit all curtain rods

Not dark out curtains

Definitely lets sunlight through, though these curtains still look great they specify they block out 80-90% of sunlight which is probably a little bit less than that. I decided to buy some that were completely 100% black out and I hung both sets on my window. One set is for looks and the other is for no sunlight because I work nights. Or you could just find some curtains that offer both; style and 100% proof.

Pros
  • Perfect for creating a home theater experience
Cons
  • May not be as suitable for households with pets that shed

A beautiful, elegant lightweight thermal drape that does the job!

Love these curtains! We just moved into a home with drafty windows so I bought these to cut down the draft and the light in our bedroom. We hung them right over the vertical shades that were an inside mount. Best night's sleep I have had here! These are not like the old grandma thermal drapes or the thick hotel thermals. They are are a light weight, elegant drape that does the job. The gray color was a bit more subtle than I had expected but was pleasantly surprised as it matched my bedspread…

Pros
  • Reduces outside light pollution for a serene atmosphere
Cons
  • May not be ideal for households in earthquake-prone regions

These curtains are excellent!

This is the second time I've purchased these curtains. They hang nicely. I bought two of the 100 x 96 size for triple sliders in grey. They may not be super duper thermal, but there is at least a thickness to them and in this past cold New Hampshire winter they seemed to keep out some coldness. They are NOT blackout curtains, but I knew that from other reviews. They are somewhat darkening. If I'd hung them in my bedroom I would have been disappointed in this, but they are perfect for my living…

Pros
  • Sold as Single Panel: You will find 1 Curtain Drape (52 inch wide by 84 inch long) + 1 Matching Tie Back in your package.
Cons
  • May not be as durable as other curtains

Great Quality at a Great Price

UPDATE: I’ve had these curtains for 3.5 years now and they’re still doing great. I’ve washed and dried them several times (make sure to remove the plastic grommets first) and they have held up really, really well. As other reviewers have mentioned they are not true 100% blackouts. I have them in a north facing room that doesn’t get a ton of sun. So for me these work fine. They block out enough light to let a day sleeper sleep. Also during the summer or winter I do notice a temperature…

Pros
  • Neutral beige color complements various wall colors
Cons
  • May not be suitable for households with allergies

Color true to the pictures, not the description

Nice curtains for the price. I took a chance on the color since it says blue - I wasn’t looking for blue, but a soft seafoam green/teal color to match my bedspread. They were the perfect match and true to the color in the picture - definitely not blue. There were a lot of black threads all over them that I had to pick off and they were quite wrinkly. The wrinkles came out easily enough with a steamer. They block out a lot of light but I don’t know that I’d call them "black-out” curtains.

Pros
  • Maintains room temperature for enhanced comfort
Cons
  • May not be machine washable

Exactly What I was looking for

After ordering two other brands off ebay, I finally hit the jackpot with these curtains. I ordered the light grey and they are a true light grey. The only small complaint I have is (like others have stated) the grommets. They look.silly and plastic/ fake. They are nice looking grommets from a distance (plastic). They are going to be hung quite high so I don't think you'll be able to tell. I bought th

Pros
  • Improves air quality by blocking outside pollutants
Cons
  • May not be resistant to fading in direct sunlight

Real Nice Curtains best in my review

I’m really pleased with these curtains. I bought two different colors and they were both true to the pictures. They come with a button on each end and a sort of tie-back piece that probably comes in handy if you are really good at adulting. I will just let my curtains hang free. The outside fabric has a nice texture, and the inner liner is smooth. They are not 100% light blocking. Maybe 60-80% depending on which color you get. The zipper on the little plastic bag they come in was broken on one…

Pros
  • Metal Grommets: 8 silver metal grommets per panel (1.6 inch inner diameter), suitable to most standard curtain rods. Updated rust free metal grommets make your curtain easy to slide and durable to use.
Cons
  • May require additional hardware for installation

Not 100% blackout for my opinion

I purchased the Aqua Blue and they are absolutely gorgeous! It was a nice surprise that they came with 2 tiebacks I wasn't expecting too. The only issue is that they are not 100% blackout. I didnt realize there is a difference when manufacturers state "blackout" vs "100% blackout". If you want 100%, these are not that. They fall under "blackout/room darkening" instead. I am still keeping them because the color and fabric are beautiful!

Pros
  • Coordinating pillow covers available for a cohesive look
Cons
  • May need to be replaced after extended use

Classy Curtains at an Affordable Price

My fiancee and I were looking for curtains for what seemed like forever. After multiple orders, we finally bought these and they are PERFECT for our space, The light grey color is an excellent neutral color in a space that has plenty of other bold colors in it. The material is heavy and the texture design is subtle - not dull but not overpowering either. It took awhile to iron out wrinkles. Even after ironing, there are still a few noticeable ones here and there. I wouldn't say that they are…

Pros
  • An affordable and easy way to update the look and feel of any room in the house
Cons
  • May not be suitable for households with tall windows

Better then I expected for the price!

I really like these curtains! I ordered them in grey and you can see in the picture how much better they look then my old ones on the right. I love the texture and how they fold nicely to the side. They darken the room a lot more then my old curtains but still let a bit of light through. Their perfect for a living room and have a really classy look. I love the silk material on the back its kind of a bluish grey. They were pretty wrinkled at first but they seemed to flatten out over time. I was…

Ok for the price. Looks nice.

Good curtain for the money (I got a good lightning deal price - not sure it is worth full price). It seems to be decent material overall, but the grommets are almost comically large and definitely cheap looking. You will definitely have to iron it, after taking it out of the small, zip-up package (I got the 100”x84” sliding door size in grey). The grey color is very light "linen look” fabric, backed with a light grey satin-like frabic. It is not a blackout curtain, nor do I think it is heavy…

Pros
  • Fits a variety of decorative styles
Cons
  • May not be as effective at protecting privacy as other curtains

Not consistent - my new review

These are a little bit more expensive than I would have liked especially for only being one panel for the price. I bought these for my master bedroom which has three windows. I love the color and the textured look to them. I bought one just to see what it would look like then bought two more later in the second two I received had weird buttons on them (to tie back). I’ll probably remove them. Also the back has a solid silk-like lining and the color doesn’t match. I ordered a seafoam color and…

Pros
  • Made from high-quality cotton material for durability
Cons
  • May not be as energy-efficient as other curtain options

Nice curtain. Not as dark as I hoped.

The color (beige) is nice but I excepted it to have more of a linen look with a contrasting color. There is not a black center core in this curtain (see photo). Nowhere near the darkness you’ll see in a hotel room. The plastic in the grommets are supposed to make it "quieter”. Of course you can still hear it when pulling the curtain, but ultimately is not a big deal. I did take time to iron it, as it was wrinkled and was not going to come out with just hanging it. The fabric is very soft.

Pros
  • Protects furniture and floors from sun damage
Cons
  • May not be as effective at reducing energy costs as other curtain options

Melodieux Blackout Curtains

Very nice, heavy fabric. Had a terrible time matching the color because there is a texture to the fabric and the teal is little more towards green than blue. I do have teal in my pillows which I wanted to keep and didn’t know if it will match, so I ordered just one set. They were so beautiful, that I decided to make set of pillows from them instead of looking to match the curtains. I found them to be very well made, the fabric is heavy and soft and falls beautifull. My windows are on the west…

Pros
  • Reduces outside noise to create a peaceful environment
Cons
  • May not be suitable for households with pets or children

Fuchsia. what?: my feedback

Original I am super disappointed with this purchase. These are great curtains except for one huge issue. They aren't what is shown in the picture. For such an expensive curtain I really expected the product to be close. The rings on the curtains I received are fuchsia. Like super bright purply pink. Basically they would probably only go well in a child's bedroom. I was expecting The rings to be silver. After squinting at the rings in the picture they look like they could also be a super light…

Pros
  • Fade-resistant material ensures long-lasting beauty
Cons
  • May not be suitable for households with pets and allergies

Nice quality - my new review

I would NOT call it a blackout curtain, though it does diffuse most of the indirect sunlight from outside. The center frame of the patio door can be seen faintly. It is definitely not what was considered a thermal curtain in the 1970’s, which was obviously thicker. Maybe there’s newer technology these days? The ad might lead someone to think there are multiple layers that result in a noticeable thickness. There is nothing obvious; just a white backside to the colored front side. Using our…

Pros
  • Comes with multiple hanging options for convenience
Cons
  • May not be as good of a value as other curtain options

Soft and beautiful!

These are beautiful drapes.had to cover a window that is 110" x 63" these worked perfect. The texture is so soft and they are completely blackout. These work well because the afternoon sun comes streaming in and shines of the television full on. I have to have tv facing window as it is the only place for it. These will be great during the summer to keep it cooler in the mid and late afternoon sun. They have already proven to help keep the heat in and cold out.since I hung these Sunday, we have…

Pros
  • Triple Weave Fabric: Block out 80%-90% of sunlight and 99% UV rays. No chemical coating, no pungent smell. Soundproof and energy efficient. Privacy protected.
Cons
  • May not block out noise as effectively as other curtains
