Description of Creative Grids Equilateral Triangle Quilting

Cut 30 and 60 degree angles up to a finished height of 8 inches. This 60 degree equilateral triangle features easy to read black and white markings. A 1/4 inch dashed line is printed on each side of the center vertical line so you can cut 30 degree triangles that include the seam allowance. The ruler slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied. Then, our exclusive gripper holds the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and miss-cuts!. The ruler comes with fully illustrated step by step instructions or scan the QR Code printed on the ruler to view a video demonstration of these features. Total Size - 8-1/2in x 10-1/4in. It is Creative Grids brand with non-slip dots on the back.

Ordered for One Quilt Wonders Quilt. Haven't used it yet but I think it will work fine as it's a bit smaller than the other 60 degree ruler I had which would make it more cumbersome to work with in that context.

Pros
  • The ruler comes with fully illustrated step-by-step instructions or scan the QR code printed on the ruler for a video demonstration of these features.
Cons
  • Will be added later

Works very well - no slipping

Bought this for my first OBW quilt only to find out they recommend a pointed ruler but there is a video showing how to ideally use this blunt ended ruler to create pointed triangles create. I can't imagine how a sharpened ruler could be more accurate. I'm glad I bought this one. It's durable and won't slip when you cut it around.

Pros
  • The ruler glides easily across the fabric before pressure is applied. Our exclusive grip then holds the fabric in place as you cut, preventing slipping and sliding!
Cons
  • Only available in white

Get the job done!

This is an excellent quilting ruler. I don't find it slips a lot around. Remember, this is a flat-tipped triangle, not a pointed one. As long as you know this, you're fine. I just cut an extra 1/4" off my strip to make the 1/4" -To account for lace that isn't there.but I find it very easy to sew triangles with a flat tip.I love this line!

Pros
  • Cut the 30 and 60 degree corners to a final height of 8 inches. This 60-degree equilateral triangle has easy-to-read black and white markings. A 1/4" wide dotted line is printed on each side of the vertical center line so you can cut triangles at 30 degree angles, including seam allowances.
Cons
  • Long Delivery
