1/4 inch thick for high shank home sewing machines.

Please note these rulers are 1/4 inch thick. Not suitable or safe for low shank household sewing machines like most machines. If it measures 1/2 inch from the presser foot screw to the machine bed, it's a low shank. High - 1 inch.

  • Stylish and modern design

Very important! best when sewing

I bought these rulers because I am a fan of Angela Walters work. What I love most about her lines is the ability to see lines on both light and dark fabrics. Another reason I like their product is the size of the rulers. They are neither too bulky nor too small for the projects I work on.

Pros
  • Good item

Don't buy if you have a low shank!

I was very excited and got a whole bunch of rulers. Turns out they are too thick and don't go under my lower leg at the back so I can't make curved lines on the left. This supplier should let people know that it was designed specifically for high shank sewing machines as I now have a set of rules that I can't use.

For LOW TAIL MACHINES

After spending money and finally opening two rulers, they were too thick. I have a custom ruler for my Viking Epic 2 Low Shank machine and it's not working. I just saw quilter Angela design them for Creative Grids and she has announced that she has a new line coming out in October specifically for low shank machines. I wrote and asked for a refund but I was a few days late. Given that nowhere in the description does it say they are for high shank machines I was hoping for at least an answer.…

They are alright. on Rulers & Ruler Stands

YouTube is your friend with these rulers and you need to look them up as some of the rulers don't have good names. The PDF guide gives an example of how to use the rulers one way but not another. Video demonstrations include instructions in PDF format. Walters' videos are well thought out. Your instructions are clear and to the point. She uses the descriptive expression that it is about free movement with rulers. The Taj doesn't have needle stops, but it does have a fun ruler. Elvira has needle

Help a lot to quilt your own quilts.

I wanted them as soon as I heard about them. But I'm on a tight budget so I needed a good reason to buy. It was Christmas! Laugh! Whether you buy them individually or together, they come out at the same price. I love Chevy, triangular and slim. But I also love others for their specific reason and benefit. These are my first creative grid rulers and I really like them. Good quality. No damage or scratches found. I particularly liked the thickness of the ruler. I can quilt better with a ruler…
