Description of 🧡 Enhance Your Quilting Skills with the Creative Grids Quilt Ruler 6-1/2in x 12-1/2in - CGR612

This 6-1/2 x 12-1/2 inch rectangle ruler features easy-to-read black and white markings printed in 1 inch grids marked in 1/8 and 1/4 inch increments. Use the easy-to-read, black numbers (printed on white dots) and the 1/4 inch grip sides to cut whole inches. The 1/4 inch dashed lines printed on two adjoining sides aid in trimming seam allowances. Use the patented Turn-A-Round feature – designated by the easy to read, numerical white numbers (printed on black dots) and the 1/2 inch grip sides – to add the 1/2 inch seam allowance. Use the white 45 degree angle to trim half-square triangles in whole inch increments. Use the black 45 degree angle to trim half-square triangles in half inch increments. An additional black 45 degree line is placed so that two angles cross 1/4 inch away from the outside edge. Use these markings to square up flying geese units; squares set on point or mark cross-hatching. The ruler also features a 30degree/60degree angle. White horizontal and vertical lines are printed on the rectangle so the center of the ruler is easily distinguishable. Use these lines to fussy cut stripes and borders. The ruler slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied. Then, our exclusive gripper holds the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and miss-cuts! Scan the QR Code printed on the ruler to view a tutorial of these features.

Great ruler - quilting

Love, love, love this ruler. I have the larger one and ended up going for the smaller one because the longer one is just too long sometimes and it makes my cut more precise.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • For old people

Great line!: Rulers and ruler stands

Love the line improvements. Some points on the lines have been removed for better visibility. There's still room for improvement, but it's much better than the previous Creative Grids style in terms of accuracy. i love the size! I want to buy other sizes now!

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Obsolete model

One of these rulers has a broken corner

I bought 2 of these rulers. One for me and one for a friend. I bought them specifically for class with Bonnie Hunter on February 21st. I packed for class today and opened my line. One of the corners is broken off. I'm so unhappy I didn't open it sooner.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old

Love Creative Grids Rulers

Love Creative Grids Rulers!. Highly recommended The grips work great and the accuracy is amazing. I'm taking a month-long quilting course. The instructions call for a lot of 1/8" cuts. I had trouble getting 1/8" with my old rulers. The instructor recommended the Creative Grids line. I bought one and they were right. Replace the other brands' lines Creative Grids!

Pros
  • Outstanding Overall Achievement
Cons
  • Doubtful

Very Handmade - Sew

I've tried/used literally every line available. I think it's fair to say that I chose Omnigrid. But I hate that yellow stripe because it makes it so hard to see the fabric line underneath. Also, I've tried all sorts of "stabilizers" for rulers - first it was Omnigrip, then Grace came out with these little donuts (which work really well), but now I mainly use Guideline4Quilting strips. You are unbelievable. But when I switched to the Creative Grids lines, there were little jagged circles…

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
