These gouache colors are of excellent quality. Artist-grade color saturation and coverage without toxic chemicals. I checked the MSDS and these paints are non-toxic even if eaten! I got a set of pots first and then bought this set of pipes for larger projects. Completely satisfied with both purchases.

In my opinion it is much better and easier to work with than Himi Miya Jelly Gouache. Depending on the application, a little goes a long way and the colors I mixed were really pretty. Even the watercolor style washes I did were richly pigmented and didn't require layer after layer. Highly recommended!

Not as good as Winsor and Newton designer gouache but still a great colour. I like that it doesn't tear. Cracking some colors of my other gouaches. This set is a good top coat paint. It is thinner than designer gouache from Winsor and Newton Designer but almost as opaque. It's definitely better than Reeves' gouaches. I will use these colors with Winsor and Newton gouache. I bought my first Caran D'ache Studio set a few years ago and after receiving and trying the tubes I can only admire the quality and accuracy of the shades, they are exactly the same as these originally . Frying pans from my set. This set is fantastic, I love that the gouache can be in tubes and cuvettes, sometimes depending on the project you need more paint and the tubes work faster. I want to say that the studio set, both in tubes like this one and the set in a pan, is of a different quality
