Interesting technique

I haven't tried the method described in this book, but I plan to do so. Instructions and photos are detailed and the projects are interesting. I will probably use several different templates with technique. Well done book.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons

New technique, dye the fabric

As an experienced quilter, I'm always looking for new ideas to try. Crayons and coloring books always cheered me up as a kid and with my kids as they grow older. Bring the opportunity to combine my love of coloring with a new direction. I applaud the patchwork quilt design. The book provides excellent instructions for the process and is very easy to follow. The proposed projects are an added plus.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some mistakes

The best tech book in a long time!

This book is awesome! The designs are beautiful, the concepts are simple, but the results are great. Terry Kigar's book is a must read if you are interested in art quilting, quilt painting etc. Your instructions are clear and well illustrated. Beginners should not be afraid, this book makes it possible! Every pattern you need to create beautiful quilts is right here in this book. This is absolutely the best quilt book I've bought in years! And I buy a lot.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Excellent samples, not sure about the technique

If the technique in this book were as simple as described in the introduction, I would give it five stars. I couldn't decide whether to give 3 or 4 stars so I just went with 4. I've used permanent ink on fabric with great results, I've always loved to color and I'm pretty damn good at all kinds. Drawing and painting. So I wasn't afraid at all to try this melt and mix technique. I only mention this because in the introduction she emphasizes how well everyone can master this technique, even…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
