Doesn't work with markers

The paper is very thick and the markers don't bleed down the other side of the page. However, in my experience, it is extremely difficult to mix markers on this paper. I used both Ohuhu and Copics markers. When colored with markers, the color tends to run and looks very shiny. After some research I saw that other people who had the same problem also ordered their sketchbook from Revain. I went to a local art store and bought the same book and didn't have these issues so I would recommend you…

Good quality sketchbook, poor delivery

I'm almost done with my first sketchbook of this brand and just got my second. This is my favorite sketchbook I've ever had, it handles a lot of ink very well without becoming grainy or looking through. Even with heavy use of dark ink, you can easily use both sides of each page. My only issue is that the corners were already damaged from shipping when this new one arrived which was a little disappointing. I don't think it's bad enough to justify a return, but I would have liked the box to be a…

Best Marker Sketchbook

In 28 years of illustrations and sketchbooks this is the first non bleed paper I've found that holds up well to alcohol based markers. Watercolor doesn't bleed either, but paper will wrinkle with some water-based mediums. This is the first sketchbook where I can use both sides of the paper so the previous drawing doesn't show through. I immediately bought another hardcover album as well as 2@ 9x12. Tear out pads of paper so I can make smaller/odd sized albums to carry around. The paper seems to

It really works!

I know this has been proven time and time again in countless videos, but part of me was still very skeptical that this sketchbook wouldn't show up at all, but it really is this is how it works! First thing I did was turn the last page in case it bleeds and swatch ALL my alcohol markers, front and back 😍 I've tried Copic, Prismacolor, Faber Castell and the lesser known Artify, and none of them worked You can see it at all The other side! The paper itself looks strange. Not much texture but…

Best Comic Book Paper, Low Voids

If you need a 100% fully impermeable marker paper exclusively for traditional marker paper with the same benefits of using blended media to blend gel pens, gansai watercolors, gouache or pencils then then is this for you! Not only is it overall less weird than using Bristol since you don't have to complicate/plan the panels as much due to accessing multiple papers, but it's also less manageable. While this is certainly easier, it also takes away a lot of flexibility. 1. Cons: I would say I…

Overpriced, not worth it if I can't layer a lot.

It's overrated I got it because I browsed many artists on YouTube and saw many beautiful and cute styles, but the "beauty" surprised me. That's not for me. This negates buying additional copies for shading, I can't create gradient levels. After two coats he combined the colors on top, he erased my platinum blonde from my Naruto drawing. Oh boy I was hoping this pool wouldn't happen after reading two reviews mentioning it after it was brought. I always see the negative in Revain and thought to…
