Review on πŸ“’ Crescent Creative Products RENDR Hardbound Sketchbook, 8.5 x 11-inch by Sasha Hsiao

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Overpriced, not worth it if I can't layer a lot.

It's overrated I got it because I browsed many artists on YouTube and saw many beautiful and cute styles, but the "beauty" surprised me. That's not for me. This negates buying additional copies for shading, I can't create gradient levels. After two coats he combined the colors on top, he erased my platinum blonde from my Naruto drawing. Oh boy I was hoping this pool wouldn't happen after reading two reviews mentioning it after it was brought. I always see the negative in Revain and thought to ignore it when it's mostly the positive that it has. As someone who looks at things carefully before buying them. Especially art supplies, which I've set as my two main considerations. Damn I was stuck between a slick paper cannon and it literally asked my friend for help and he told me to choose this one. Because I said it would be like a journal of your artwork. And there were two artists who pushed me into this professional style. They use crayons to fade them in later - I think it's a trick. Because of this, many shifts seemed necessary. One of them was realistic but didn't apply much marker on just one layer. that's basically why i was sold. And I didn't realize how many others drew in the "simple" style. The only plus point of this sketchbook is the ink proof on the back and it makes me feel like a professional drawing and ink on it. After collecting my photos, I took the evidence. Just remembered that just 1 layer of blue left this steak with texture, even after you carefully removed it and did the opposite side. It looks like this with dark colors. And a blending problem prevented me from correcting his face. It wants to remain a beginner's style, so colored pencil will be my only go-to. I was very disappointed after I started coloring his hair and skin and maybe a little upset. I've been waiting for good paper for my markers so it doesn't eat a lot of ink. This is why I avoided using my mixed media hobby in the lobby as many YouTubers say it absorbs ink quickly and works with all mix media products. This mixed paper is the best I've tried. A cheap $2 grocery store doesn't offer good quality, I don't like that. I do not recommend this for ***professionals***! This is for beginners. And you know, I brought this with money for my birthday. I asked my older brother to get me this, I brought hardcore to protect my art, but I won't be using it after that. Because I want a refund and didn't come back before because the post office seemed a long way, but I found a way to cross a busy road so we'll see. I think I paid a lot for this result.

Pros
  • Art Paper
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
