Easy to Use Scissors - Power & Hand Tools

I have a pair of Wiss scissors that I bought 50 years ago. The blades became dull and it was cheaper to buy them than to replace the blades. Although the new Wiss scissors don't feel as heavy as the old ones, they are still comfortable to hold and very sharp.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Functionality

The perfect complement to a sewing machine

Easy to use, sharp, cuts threads well, very handy next to the sewing machine. I like the blunt end because I can't accidentally stab myself with it. It is not suitable for cutting fabrics or tear seams; You will need separate scissors and a seam ripper for these purposes.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Great price

Perfect! Fits hand tools

I had a heavy duty steel clipper and decided to take a chance and buy this. I wish I had ordered more pairs (a pair at home and I'm happy to take a pair with me when I have a doctor's or other appointment). They're lightweight, cut smooth, and are great for getting rid of those stray strands. I highly recommend this product.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Protection

Sharp, precise and easy to use Scissors

I love my new scissors! I'm a quilter and they really help with thread trimming when sewing. Much faster than scissors. The comfortable fit and finger loop make it perfect for my hand. One more comment. According to the product description, they were red. If it matters to you, the color of the scissors I received was orange rather than red. I don't care, but maybe someone is interested.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Problems

Easy to pick up and use with one hand.

My favorite craft item. I use them for quilling (strips of paper are twisted into patterns), embroidery, scrapbooking, and sewing. Ideal for pruning and small cuts. I travel a lot and this is allowed through security. I have a pair of 70's and was so glad they still sold them. Easy to pick up and use with one hand. Regular scissors are bulky and uncomfortable when holding something with one hand.

Pros
  • Reinforced contoured design
Cons
  • Insecure

Super sharp but blunt end SAVES LIVES

Super sharp but blunt end SAVES LIVES! I saw another pair with spiky ends and was afraid to buy them despite the good reviews because a lot of people complained about the spiky ends hurting themselves. They solve this problem without sacrificing the quality of the hair clipper. I would definitely buy this wonderful hair clipper again but the quality is so good I don't see a need!

Pros
  • Stainless steel replacement blades
Cons
  • Expensive

Excellent scissors for tying flies.

I love fly tying and one of the tools I need is a pair of sharp scissors to cut the blades from tip to root. I also like to hold them in my hand while tying. The large ring on the scissors allows me to slip one of my thumbs in and still be comfortable. I have used many fly tying scissors that cost 5-6 times more than Wiss scissors and they are not that good. In short, it's great shears for what I do and you can't beat the price.

Pros
  • Heavy duty industrial grade PVC plastic handle
Cons
  • Small parts
