Not a terrible tube, but the tube isn't round like other tubes I've had, more like a rectangle. As a result, you cannot adjust the angle of the tube simply by turning it slightly. For me, the angle was too far forward when looking down, causing the top to sink slightly in the water. We went to Grand Cayman and snorkeled this tube for several hours every day. I noticed that sometimes when the snorkel was tilted forward and my head was above the water, the valve would close and block the air. It had to do with the angle. Not only is this a fantastic snorkel, it's also much cheaper than others. I have been snorkeling and diving for over 30 years and have had dozens of snorkels. It's as good as anything I've used. Works much better than the Mares Ergo Dry I bought last year. Should have bought this one instead. Last year I went snorkeling in the Caribbean for the first time since I was a child. The new dry pipe technology with a flush valve is much better than trying to force water out of a standard J-pipe. The bag it came in had a sticker saying p65 California warning of cancer and reproductive harm. The mouthpiece smells strongly of chemicals. Also, the mouthpiece is too small.
