Description of Creuset Stoneware Tea Holder Marseille

High-quality exterior enamel protects against metal marks and other damage. Hard-wearing, impermeable finish fired at temperatures as high as 2192of is safe for cutting on with knives. Unmatched thermal resistance from -65of to 500of safe for the freezer, microwave, oven, broiler and dishwasher. Less than 1% porosity, blocking moisture absorption which can lead to cracking, crazing and rippling along the interior. A perfectly color-matched palette of bold, consistent tones for easy mixing and matching with other le creuset products.

Cute but arrived broken.

cute but poorly packaged and arrived broken. It's just for me so I'll stick it and move on, but I'd be very disappointed if I bought it as a gift.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • no color required

Does what it says on the tin

That's it. The color goes perfectly with my Cassis Le Creuset teapot. That's just the size of a tea bag. Like other Le Creuset ceramics, it can be used in the microwave, oven, etc., but when you'll ever use those functions with a tea bag holder I can't say. You could easily use a million other small plates to hold your tea bag and it would probably be cheaper, but if you want something nicer to match your teapot it's worth it.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Alright

Not a one-off item

Color corresponds to photo. She loves him for her teabags (I still don't know why she keeps them and then throws them away, but what's a good romance without a secret?). The hidden thing for me is that I use it to count my pills in the morning. Although I thought it was only for one purpose, in the end it was great for me too! Past usage: 1. holds old tea bags2. Holding pills 3. Impress my mother-in-law as a thoughtful gift4. Spoon holder when another is in the dishwasher

Pros
  • It's OK!
Cons
  • Style 90

The Tea Drinker's Companion

I once had a "poche à thé", the little thing they used at Tupperware parties. Then my aunt gave me a small china with violets. But that's what today's generous teabags need. It's actually wider than shown in the picture, preventing used tea bags from dripping onto the stove or counter. This is LeCruset, a good quality brand although their products, including this one, are now made in China. This color is called "soleil" which means "sunshine" in French.

Made in China but cute

As other reviewers said, it's small. However, it is no smaller than its dimensions, so read carefully! Holding a tea bag. I was a bit disappointed that it didn't have Le Creuset stamped anywhere. There isn't even a sticker or anything like that on the bottom (except for the "Made in China" sticker, of course). It's bubble wrap wrapped, so there's not even any packaging marked as such. (It's a gift to go with another Le Creuset piece, which is why I was so concerned about the labeling.) Overall,

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power
