Average build quality. The foil knife is not inspiring. The two stage mechanism arrived stuck so I had to get some tools and loosen it. Trying to loosen it with your fingers indicates an injury. It got worse when I squeezed the pliers lightly - the metal bent between step 1 and step 2 so I can't in good conscience ask for a refund. I threw it in the trash.

not durable at all. the corkscrew lever bent after a month. The 2-speed lever is very prone to flexing and will also bite the cork, giving you the added bonus of bits of cork in the wine at the expense of the overpriced and brittle product. not at all worthy of the Le Creuset brand. shameful. the only good thing about his product is that it is a beautiful shade of purple. One star for that, zero stars otherwise.

I bought this expensive corkscrew in November and it's already broken. A small wire spring popped out and I can't work out exactly where it came from. I've had corkscrews at gas stations longer than this. I confess that I never learned how to use it easily. My return window closed on January 31st otherwise I would have asked for my money back. Shame on you, Le Creuset.
