I thought as this is a well known hair care company this would be a decent straightener. It is not. I have a pixie cut and wanted to curl my hair with a small flat iron. The hair sticks and does not slide smoothly through the two plates. It leaves wrinkles and is just unnecessarily difficult to use (like a cheap flat iron at the dollar store). Also, you can't control the temperature and this iron gets too hot! If your goal is just to straighten your hair, I'm sure you're fine (but still okay)…

I liked that it was dual voltage. However, the connector is so large that it does not fit into a standard adapter. That said, the US plug on this thing doesn't fit my adapter's US outlet, which makes it work with European outlets - and that's true of the three different types of adapters I've tried. What a waste! I love that it comes in its own heating pad case, but it's not that much smaller than my regular flat iron, so I just use my regular flat iron when I'm traveling across the US because…
